Printing Symbols

The Kindergarten students are learning about symbols.  They are learning that symbols are pictures that have meanings without words.

Each student draws their own symbol.  Next they draw that symbol on Styrofoam.  Then the students print their symbol 4 times on a 12x12 piece of paper.

After printing, the students can color on top of their print with oil pastels.   The prints can then be woven together by the students.

All sides of the paper must be hole punched.

The finished wall tapestry will be hung on the wall.
